This is a quality built and maintained tool. The anodized aluminum handle measures 47-3/4" long including the handle mount. The roller head frame is heavy duty aluminum. I have just reversed the roller bushings and the tool is as tight as new. The stainless bushings can be reversed when they wear down and the rollers begin to wobble. The stainless steel rollers mean no rust. The tapered ends allow plenty of mud to be left in the intersection of ceiling and wall angles and pervents the intersecting tape from being forced out of place. The taper at both ends and thicker lead points cut down on drag and tape snaking out of the angles.
